Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz first met
in 1940 at a RKO Commissary. Lucy was
filming in Dance, Girl, Dance and Desi
was filming Too Many Girls, a hit musical
on Broadway. Lucille was 28 and Desi was
23 years old. Lucille and Desi were married
for the second time on June 19, 1949,
even though their fist marriege was fine.
Desi's mother, Lolita, believed the both
of them could not conceive a child because
they did not get married in a Catholic
ceremony. Six months after the second
marriege, Lucille did conceive, but it was
a miscarriage.
